The After Hours was established in 1971 by the late Michael Maganius the I. The motel was established as one of the only locations in Breezewood to provide housing for those traveling on the Route 30 from Pittsburgh and the I-76. Despite it's small town success the location would become known countywide in Bedford and be awarded an excellence award from Bedford County.
In 1997, the motel would be taken over by Michael's son Michael Maganius the II otherwise known as Mike. The motel would expand it's reach to the Pittsburgh area and begin to draw in more guests through its ad campaign on the newly formed Internet. The motel has hosted events and has been a staple in the community. After Hours is looking to expand in the future and establish another location off the I-70 in the future by 2005, plans have been in the works to chart out land and begin the process of setting up more locations across Bedford and other nearby counties.
